Day of Flight (6/4 to 6/5)

We flew Norwegian Air from JFK to a layover in Stockholm (ARN) (a 7 hr flight) and then a 3.5 hr flight from Stockholm to Barcelona (BCN).  Norwegian might be a budget carrier, but I thought they were pretty good.  No delays and we got all our luggage--that's what matters to me  The food wasn't bad for airline economy class either.

We went through Stockholm customs and got a Sweden passport stamp (yeah!).  None of us remembered doing this before on a transfer flight, but this is the first time we flew between countries in the EU. When we picked up our bags in Spain, we started heading for the exit.  I wasted time looking for passport control before realizing this.  D'oh!  Fe reminded me.  Double D'oh!

Then a taxi to our hotel, Hostal Benidorm.  I say "hotel", but it is really a hostel.  I was a little worried (see previous entry) about what it would be like, but I don't see any backpacking Euro-hippies with man-buns (yet).  Our room has a mini-balcony overlooking La Rambla--I'm impressed.

¿Cómo Se Dice "We're here!" en Español?  ¡Estamos aquí!
