Valencia and Aguilas (6/10-6/11)

On the next day in Valencia, we let the boys go to the city's aquarium, L'Oceanografic.  It's the largest aquarium in Europe and is in a newer part of town with lots of modern architecture.  Now by "let the boys go", I mean we dropped them off and then Fe and I took the historic tour of town.  I'll admit it--I was nervous.  But Kyle can get along pretty well in Spanish and Jason has a good head on his shoulders, so everything was fine.  I'm glad we did it this way because I can see fish anywhere, but not the history and culture of Catalonia.

We left Valencia a little later than usual and didn't get to the hotel in Aguilas until at about 8pm.  Another late dinner and then preparing to pack for the next day meant I didn't get much sleep.  The hotel here was really more of an apartment and was really set up nice.  Too bad we were only here one night.

Sleep or no, I couldn't resist driving in to town in the early morning before everyone else was ready.  I could retire here, I think.
