Granada, Day One (6/11)

Reluctantly, we left Aguilas this morning for Granada.  Reluctantly if only because Aguilas was so laid back and I don't think many Americans go there.

It was a nice drive to Granada and I was getting too comfortable. After several drives "around the block", we finally found our hotel.  They even had an arrangement with a nearby hotel for parking.  Well, I scraped the side of the car on a tight spiral decline into their garage.  I just couldn't judge how close I was on the passenger's side.  Good thing I bought the insurance!  Jason said it was just a good thing we didn't hit anyone.  He's right--that would have ended the vacation.

Granada is an old, old town with lots of history.  The most famous thing here is the Alhambra, a UNESCO World heritage site.  Fe says Game of Thrones was filmed here too.
