An Easy Day, sort of (6/16)

Unlike the ferry ride over, the ride back was much easier.  Our tour guide took care of the document requirements in Morocco, so all we had to do was board the boat and sit down.  I have to admit that I slept a lot on the way back.  The windows got too wet to see much of anything, and my sleep time and caffeine intake has been way below normal on this trip.

We took it a bit easier on this day because we were still tired and we also lost two hours on the boat ride back to Spain.  I'm not sure why the time zones are set up that way, but it put us later in the day than I was expecting.  Oh well, we did gain more time the other way, so it evens out.

First we went to a mall to get something to eat then we went shopping for a suitcase to put all the souvenirs we've been accumulating.

The place we stayed at--Meson de Sancho--was halfway between Tarifa and Algeciras, so there wasn't much to do at the hotel and based on pictures on the booking site, I wasn't expecting much.  But (again) I was pleasantly surprised.  It was a well-kept place with a nice pool and clean rooms.  If we were staying longer here, it would have made a nice base.

We finished the day with some shopping and dinner at a mall in Algeciras.

¿Cómo se dice "tuna sandwich" en Español?  Sandwich de atún.
